In many of Jesus’s Parables he talks of gardens or farmers fields or other aspects of his disciples lives that relate to his teachings. In reading these how much do we know how these people lived, what their values were, what their aesthetic was, or simply how they thought? What was the world that they built? Can you miss the centerpiece fountain, Can you imagine how it must have emphasized the architecture of the palace?
