The 40-year journey of the Israelites through the Sinai desert is one of the greatest journeys in the Old Testament. Here they are guided by the “Cloud of Glory”. Jewish people celebrate this journey through the festival of Sukkot.
- Exodus 34:5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
- Exodus 24:16 And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
- And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his garments became white as light.
In that face that shone like the sun, and those garments that became white as light; did those three apostles begin to clearly see Christ? Did they begin to see Christ as a guide, Like Moses?
